Here is what Mrs. Lyle shares about her faith:

1.       What does “faith” mean to you?

Faith means believing and trusting in what you can't see ( have never seen) but know it's real.

2.       Describe a time in your life when you had to solely rely on your faith.

There were several times in my life. I'll share the first time which was in June 1988.   I had to have major life-threatening surgery that involved repairing a nerve at the base of my head. This was my very first surgery.  The surgery involved going through my skull to reach the nerve. I was diagnosed with trigemenial neuralgia ( also known as tic douloureux or nervous tic). The disease is described as the most excruciating pain known to mankind. It's referred to as the "suicide disease" and I was given a 50% chance of making it through the surgery. Faith allows me to be alive these 27 years later.

3.       Have you ever wavered in your faith? If so, when?

I can't say my faith has ever wavered, but in October 2013, I put surely God to the test! My son was admitted to ICU. He was an undetected diabetic who almost died. A woman can endure almost anything except seeing her child suffering.   Thanks be unto God, my son is alive and well.

4.       What do you do when you recognize you are wavering in your faith?

I speak to Satan. I have to let him know who I belong to and He doesn't answer to Satan . I think it's just as important to talk to that demonic demon and all of his imps.

5.    In what way has your faith contributed to seeing your vision for your life realized?

My faith in God rules my every step and contributes entirely to all of my accomplishments.  I had just started my pursuit of a doctoral degree when my son became seriously ill.  I wanted to quit right away, but faith calmed my spirit. Now, I am close to finishing. Of course,  I have so many other stories. Ultimately, my faith has propelled me for greatness. Faith allows me to ALWAYS to be the difference that makes the difference in the lives of others.

6.       What words of encouragement/empowerment/advice would you give someone who is on the path to seeing their vision realized?

Never ever allow anyone or anything convince you to make detours. Stay true to your beliefs.  If you fail, learn from the mistake(s) and get back up. Strive always to make a positive impact.  Most importantly,  live not to have regrets.

Thank you, Mrs. Lyle, for sharing your faith!

Here is what Mrs. Lamar shares about her faith:

1.       What does “faith” mean to you?

My faith means everything to me, as it is the very component in my life that keeps me sane and assured that I’m not in this world alone.  My faith causes me to believe in my Lord and Savior and it causes me to know that God is.  It is the force that allows me to believe in the impossible.

2.       Describe a time in your life when you had to solely rely on your faith.

I solely have to rely on faith a whole lot because I don't have a regular 9 to 5 job as I am an entrepreneur.  However, my faith was really tested back in 1996-1998 when the first doctor told me that they found cancer cells on my uterus.  The second doctor diagnosed me with HIV and Syphilis and said the Syphilis would cause me to lose my hearing and sight.  I merely stated to that particular doctor that “I was not receiving that report” and I declared that by the strips of Jesus I was healed.  God eventually healed and delivered me from all of my diseases.

3.       Have you ever wavered in your faith? If so, when?

Yes, I have wavered in my faith several times.  I almost gave up my faith when my back went out in 2011 and I couldn't walk for two weeks.  The pain was so unbearable I wanted to commit suicide.

4.       What do you do when you recognize you are wavering in your faith?

I go on to YouTube and find a word of hope through a sermon or I attend an unscheduled service.

5.       What words of encouragement/empowerment/advice would you give someone who is on the path to seeing their vision realized?

I would say to that person, be true to yourself and your vision. Put all of your trust in God and not in man. Stay focused at all times. Don't let any person into your circle that can't think big.

For more information about Dr. Carolyn, Where Miracles Happen or her products, she invites you to visit her website at www.wheremiracleshappen.com.

Here is what Dr. Porter shares about her faith:

1.       What does “faith” mean to you?

Faith is simply believing in something wholeheartedly even though you cannot see it or completely understand it. (an example is believing in God) It can also relate to your belief in something manifesting that you placed an intention for but have no idea how it will come to pass. (perhaps a soulmate or a better job)

2.       Describe a time in your life when you had to solely rely on your faith.

Many times for sure, but I remember when I was guided to open my healing center called Where Miracles Happen and for 7 long years I continued to see it happening but saw no signs of it coming to pass, plus no resources to do it. In fact, I was scared to take on this task and had to work hard on keeping faith in myself that I could do it. Yet I knew God doesn't give us the ability to conceive an idea without the know-how to achieve it. So when the time was right, my guidance came to get moving and find the place, which I did with the help of God and my angels. When I followed my divine guidance and kept believing the center would manifest (faith), I was amazed how it all showed up. Everything fell into place, including the money, and Where Miracles Happen (the name the angels told me it was to be 7 years earlier) came into existence. I can assure you that this was completely a God job with lots of faith on my part!

3.       Have you ever wavered in your faith? If so, when?

Lots of times – I’m human and it still happens here and there. I believe my biggest issues over the years have been with money and the fear, which is lack of faith, that enough wouldn't show up in time to pay all the bills. But every time, as soon as I would let go of the problem and let God handle it, the money appeared and all was well. So I should have gotten it sooner you’d think, but I still doubtedI do say an affirmation every day even to this day and it goes like this: I am manifesting enough money to pay all my expenses plus money left over to spare and share. To me that sums it all up…you can say it too!

4.       What do you do when you recognize you are wavering in your faith?

As soon as I recognize I’m slipping in my faith, I cancel the words or thoughts I’ve had and restate what I really want and believe will happen, surrendering the doubt and asking that my faith in the promises of God and the angels be restored. Sometimes I actually say ‘Cancel, cancel, that’s not really what I want.” Then I proceed to state exactly what I really want to occur. What happens over time as you practice your faith is that even though you will continue to slip from time to time, you become aware of it much quicker and can change the direction (energy vibration) of your thinking immediately. Remember that wherever your energy goes (your thoughts and feelings), that is where your power is!

5.       What words of encouragement/empowerment/advice would you give someone who is on the path to seeing their vision realized?

Never give up and keep the word perseverance in front of your thoughts continuously. Also remember that everything appears in God’s timing, not yours, and if you simply go on with your life while keeping your dreams alive within you and your faith strong, they are assured of manifesting when the timing is right. The only thing that can get in the way of them showing up for you is YOU! Humans often get tired of waiting for God’s timing and quit just before the blessing, dream or miracle appears, thus missing out on the entire manifestation of it. So you must develop the art of patience in the process of manifesting what you want. I certainly had to learn that since I always wanted my desire yesterday, and I know you understand that thought! But I had to learn to wait with peaceful patience, knowing it would come when God said so. Amazingly, whatever I have asked for has always shown up in God’s timing, and most of the time is even better than what I had desired.

Debra Alise Norwood, Minister & Soul Confidence Builder

Peace and blessings! I would like to introduce you to contributor, Mrs. Debra Alise Norwood.

Debra Norwood is CEO, Founder, Minister and Soul Confidence Builder for Glory Realm Living and Be Soul Successful, LLC. Glory Realm Living was launched in April 2009 as a home ministry and virtual ministry blog to spiritually inspire believers toward greatness, destiny and life within the realm of God’s glory. The blog to-date has been viewed virtually in over 70 countries worldwide. Debra later introduced the innovative Christ-centered soul healing business platform of Be Soul Successful, LLC in December, 2011 where she is extremely passionate about her mission of helping others to heal, achieve wholeness, abundance and purpose in life, and to share their passion and voice to make a greater difference in the world.

Here is what Mrs. Norwood shares about her faith:

1.       What does “faith” mean to you?
Earlier years of my life led me down a path of so much pain that it caused me to become traumatized with fear and brokenness. I experienced a lot of torment and sickness. I'd been saved since childhood, but it was later in life that I deeply longed to have God's goodness and blessings.
Therefore, faith became an essential key ingredient in my life. In fact, it is stated in Hebrews 11:6 that without it, there was no possible way for me to please God, and I desired to please Him. Additionally, I learned that my faith becomes empowered to work for me when I walk in love, according to Galatians 5:6. So I endeavored to be loving to myself and others. Overall, because I take God at His Word, faith (to me) is the key to every possibility and breakthrough in my life... a lifestyle of believing that all things become possible through my trusting God!

2.       Describe a time in your life when you had to solely rely on your faith.
Since I've lived now what seems to be a "lifetime" relying on faith and trust in God, there are innumerable events and miracles that have taken place, making it quite a challenge to sum it up to one event. I have had to solely rely on my faith in God for healing, for financial needs, within relationships and for many other circumstances in which I needed Him to show up, and He never fails to show Himself faithful.
However, it has been and to this day continues to be a day-to-day reliance on my faith when it comes to my purpose. Once the Father revealed to me my purpose, it was bigger than me, and not about me, but about what He desired to do through me. This journey of purpose, ministry and entrepreneurship has been about me totally relying on His Spirit and the greater dimensions that draw, lead and propel me into each assignment, and His grace being there to help me every step of the way. But I love being a part of His bigger picture, led by the One Who knows the end of everything from the beginning, so I know He knows the way.

3.       Have you ever wavered in your faith? If so, when?
Yes, there have been many times I wavered in my faith. When you've gone through a traumatic past such as mine, unfortunately, some pain gets so deeply rooted that it's an ongoing process to renew my mind... which is a continual renewing to consider my thinking and choices. Therefore, many times I was overwhelmed by emotions and made choices based on my feelings instead of on the wisdom of God. So... my faith always wavered when I'd feel afraid... especially if I was hurting. Feelings of me being defeated or worst-case scenarios would seem so intense that my faith would undoubtedly waver.
Example: At the end of an intimate relationship, I was devastated because I thought it was actually headed toward marriage. But when it ended, unexpectedly, it was so painful. I grasped for my faith through prayer and wanting to believe for God to intervene, but my feelings of pain outweighed faith, and instead, I became depressed and thought that maybe God didn't care about my happiness. But those are the "lies" the enemy wanted me to believe, and though I knew that, the overwhelming negative feelings and emotions caused me to doubt God's promises over my life at that time.

4.       What do you do when you recognize you are wavering in your faith?
Each time I allowed myself to be guided by my feelings is when I'd recognize wavering of my faith. Therefore, now whenever the lies of the enemy come during times that I'm feeling down, I act as a watchman over my life. I've set myself to act very quickly to encourage myself or get to a place where I'm poured back into. I've noticed that when I'm pressing forward being about my Father's business and not taking the necessary time to pray, meditate and fellowship with Him through His Word, I become depleted.
So I've set myself to guard my heart with all diligence since the Bible acknowledges that every issue of my life will flow through the "most present or current" condition of my heart... or of the "most present or current" condition of my thinking and decision-making abilities. I guard my heart by starting my day with prayer, worship and meditation. I guard my heart by allowing myself to be poured into from the Word of God or from a motivational message. I guard my heart by speaking the truth of His Word and promises over my life. I guard my heart by keeping my eyes on the vision and purpose He has entrusted to me. These very applicable strategies help me to keep my faith and trust in God in tact.

5.       What words of encouragement/empowerment/advice would you give someone who is on the path to seeing their vision realized?
I encourage each person that has a vision to keep their focus on the end result by writing the vision down (either by journal or vision board) so that they will always know the direction they're headed. Although you may not see the whole picture, just begin by pouring the most loving steps of what you know to do into the direction in which you are being led. This way, confidence will come from being led by an inner-knowing of what the Most Divine and Intelligent Father is doing through you. That direction may come through prayer, meditation or just knowing something simple you may need to do in taking that step of faith to move forward. The more that you move forward trusting God, the more you'll experience His guidance.
You have been called and selected for this particular purpose or vision. And because God chose you, it means you've been prepared for it. Therefore, some things you will just know. Our mess prepares us for our message to the world. There will be divine connections of people whom you will meet that will help you along the way.
Faith sets you up to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer. Doers take faith and love as actions to be done. Faith may not be easy, but is essential to seeing your vision established. With so much going on in the world, I encourage you to keep your eyes on the higher possibilities of what God can do, because that realm opens doors to the greater of what you cannot yet see, but has already been prepared and is awaiting you. You were born for such a time as this... for a reason and for purpose... to make an impact, influence and difference in the world. And always trust that nothing is impossible with God.
